Fuerza Laboral Leaders Demand Change in Washington

Four leaders from Fuerza Laboral represented the organization in this year's National People's Action Conference (NPA) in Washington, DC. Ana, Cristina, Ignacio and Vicente joined with over 500 community leaders from grassroots organizations across the country to share victories and strategies with groups working on workers' rights and immigrants' rights, as well as youth rights, health care, ending predatory lending and foreclosures, protecting family farms, halting gentrification, and affordable housing for the homeless. All of our leaders were featured speakers on panels or facilitators of workshops. Then, we took action, demanding that community folks have a seat at the table with policy makers in the decisions that affect us directly.
